How I became a Christian: I grew up in a Christian home.

How I ended up at FUMC Brandon: The music program was the deciding factor for joining Brandon First.
 
The most important thing I do around here is: I keep all the musicians folders current with the latest music for each service.
 
Education: Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Ed. from the University of Florida
 
Family facts: God blessed me with a wonderful soul mate, Dan.  We met our freshman year at UF, married in 1978 and have 3 adult children: Andrea, our youngest, and Jenny, our eldest, both are 2nd grade teachers while our son; Mathew, is a Mechanical Engineer with Siemens.  All three of our children are married and live in the Orlando area.
 
How I spend my free time: Dan and I enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing and sailing.
 
Where I’ve lived besides Brandon: I grew up in south Florida and attended high school in Ft. Lauderdale, college in Gainesville @ UF. I also spent a few years in Atlanta before moving back to Florida.
 
Something else that’s interesting about me: I’m Cuban, a bi-lingual voice talent recording on-hold messages for companies nationwide, and play the harp.
